February Regular Board Meeting Minutes

(Virtual Meeting)

February 8, 2021 

Vice President, Amy Hinkley, called the regular board meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

Roll Call was taken and all board members were present except Erin Cole. (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers were present). Also present: Superintendent, Deanna Edens and Greg Mallar.

Motion to approve minutes was made by Nate Wickard and supported by Stacie Clark. All board members present were in agreement (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

Robert Clarke and Melissa Curtis accepted office and completed their constitutional oath of office.

Visitors (Public Comment) – None.

Greg Mallar presented the budget amendment. A motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the budget amendment as presented. The motion was supported by Nate Wickard. All board members present were in agreement. (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

A motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the bid to lease 7 2022 Blue Bird 77 Passenger Buses from Holland Bus Company as presented. The motion was supported by Brandi Revers. All board members present were in agreement.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

Pittsford Area Schools Extended COVID-19 Learning plan was presented. No action needed to be taken.

A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to approve the removal and replacement of the back door at $12,850.00 and the motion was supported by Stacie Clark. All board members present were in agreement.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

A discussion was held concerning re-sanding the gymnasium floor. One bid was presented. The item was tabled until next month’s meeting. Additional bids for the project will be sought. 

A motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the bills and supported by Stacie Clark. All board members present were in agreement.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to appoint Kyle Brown as baseball coach and supported by Nate Wickard. All board members present were in agreement.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to appoint Mike Burger as Track Coach and supported by Robert Clarke. All board members present were in agreement.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).

The assistant track coach was discussed and tabled until next month’s board meeting.

A motion was made by Stacie Clark to permit dual sports for the spring season of 2021 and supported by Brandi Revers.  All board members present were in agreement except Robert Clarke.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, and Brandi Revers). The motion was carried.

Visitors (Public Comment) – One person addressed the board.

Adjournment – A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. and was supported by Stacie Clark. All board members present were in agreement.  (Amy Hinkley, Nate Wickard, Stacie Clark, Melissa Curtis, Robert Clarke and Brandi Revers).
