July 2020 Regular Board Meeting Minutes

July 20, 2020

 President, Robert Clarke, called the regular board meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.

 Roll Call was taken and all board members were present. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard) Also present: Superintendent, Deanna Edens

 Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

 Motion to approve minutes was made by Amy Hinkley and supported by Sandi Fish. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Visitors (Public Comment) – None.

 A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to accept the payment of the bills; Sandi Fish supported the motion. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Motion was made by Robert Clarke to appoint Tyler Wilson as the Social Studies/Spanish teacher and supported by Amy Hinkley. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the MHSAA Membership Resolution and supported by Amy Hinkley. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Motion was made by Robert Clarke to increase the Student Aid Resolution not to exceed $800,000.00 and supported by Sandi Fish. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the PEA Teacher Contract for the 2020-2021 school year, and supported by Amy Hinkley. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the Bread Bid from Aunt Millie’s for the 2020-2021 school year, and supported by Sandi Fish. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Motion was made by Robert Clarke to accept the Milk Bid from Kuster’s Dairy for the 2020-2021 school year, and supported by Amy Hinkley. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Sandi Fish, Amy Hinkley, Erin Cole and Nathan Wickard)

 Visitors (Public Comment) – None.

 The August Board of Education Meeting that was scheduled for August 17, 2020 has been rescheduled and will be held on August 10, 2020.  

 Adjournment – A motion was made by Robert Clarke to adjourn the meeting at 8:01 p.m. and was supported by Staci Clark.
