September 2021 Regular Board Meeting Minutes

September 20, 2021

 Regular board meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Stacie Clark.  

The pledge of allegiance was recited.

New board of education member, Mike Pidd, took the oath of office.

Roll Call was taken and all board members were present. (Robert Clarke, Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.)

Motion to approve minutes was made by Brandi Revers and supported by Erin Cole. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark, Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.)

Visitors (Public Comment) – None

A motion was made by Robert Clarke to approve the payment of the bills and supported by Nate Wickard. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.)

The graduation date of May 22, 2022 was confirmed for the class of 2022.

A motion was made by Robert Clarke to approve the Covid letter of agreement between the PEA and Pittsford Area Schools. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.)

The weight room proposal was presented and tabled until the October meeting.

The board of education thanked Amy Hinkley for 11 years of service as a board member.

A motion was made by Mike Pidd to appoint Robert Clarke as the Board of Education Treasurer and supported by Nate Wickard.  All board members present were in agreement. (Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark, Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.) Robert Clarke accepted the position.

A motion was made by Mike Pidd to approve 8 man football for the 2022 season and supported by Robert Clarke All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark, Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.)

Board member chose to donate their $35.00 per meeting payment back to the district in the following programs/accounts.

Stacie Clark – General Fund

Robert Clarke – New Weight room or General Fund

Mike Pidd – Maintenance

Nate Wickard – General Fund

Erin Cole – Volleyball

Melissa Curtis – General Fund

Brandi Revers – Parent’s Club

Staff changes and updates were presented.

Visitors (Public Comment) – Five people addressed the board.

A motion was made at 8:15 p.m. by Stacie Clark to adjourn the meeting, motion supported by Robert Clarke and all board members present were in agreement. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Brandi Revers, Melissa Curtis, Stacie Clark, Nate Wickard, Mike Pidd and Erin Cole.)
