September Regular Board Meeting Minutes

September 21, 2020

  President, Robert Clarke, called the regular board meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

 Roll Call was taken and all board members were present except Erin Cole, Sandi Fish and Nate Wickard arrived late. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Amy Hinkley) Also present: Superintendent, Deanna Edens

 Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 

Motion to approve minutes was made by Amy Hinkley and supported by Stacie Clark All board members present were in agreement (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, and Amy Hinkley)

 Visitors (Public Comment) – None. 

A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to accept the payment of the bills; Stacie supported the motion. All board members present were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Amy Hinkley) 

The Maintenance/Custodial Bargaining Unit Agreement was presented. Robert Clark made a motion to accept the new agreement. Amy Hinkley supported the motion. All board members were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Amy Hinkley)

 A letter of Agreement between the PEA and Board of Education concerning 2020-2021 Pandemic Protections was presented. Robert Clark made a motion to accept the new agreement. Amy Hinkley supported the motion. All board members were in agreement. (Robert Clarke, Stacie Clark, Matt Richards, Amy Hinkley)

 Pittsford Area Schools Extended COVID-19 Learning plan was presented. No action needed to be taken. 

The Special Educaion Discipline Procedures were presented. No action needed to be taken. 

Superintendent Deanna Edens informed the board that Ms. Lyndsey Nacey (formerly Burchardt, class of 1994 donated $10,000.00 to the district.  

Visitors (Public Comment) – Three people addressed the board. 

Adjournment – A motion was made by Amy Hinkley to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m. and was supported by Staci Clark.
