We are beginning a competition fundraiser against NAJ to see who can raise the most money for our students and athletics programs! For $20, you will get some great discounts at some local businesses including Pizza Hut, Subway, The Notty Pine in Pittsford, Wendy's, Hillsdale Brewing Company, DQ, Shea'Nanigans, Domino's, Olivia's, Hudson Lanes, Cottage Inn and Rosalies. There's over $250 worth of savings at these fine locations!
The more we sell, the more we earn and it always feels good to beat NAJ! We have 500 cards to sell and the cards will be available to purchase in the High School office and Elementary office Monday -Friday. They will also be sold at the concession stand during next week's volleyball games and the football game on 10/20.

The Pittsford Area Schools laundry soap fundraiser ends on Friday, September 29th. Grades K-5 please return your orders and money to your teacher. Grades 9-12 can turn their orders in to their class advisor. Don’t miss out on the savings!!

Congratulations to the Ladycat cross country team for their 2nd place finish at the Fayette Invitational today. Three girls finished in the top 10. Brooke Smith finished 4th, Riley McCumber finished 7th and Ava Mallar finished 10th. Lillian Jagielski also medaled by placing 20th. Riley McCumber broke her personal best time by 27 seconds. Great race kiddo!
Congratulations to our 8th grade girls volleyball team for going 3-0 on Saturday in Morenci. Great job girls!!
Congratulations to the girls cross country team! They finished 2nd at the Homer Invitational today. Brooke Smith won the race with a time of 19:46. Ava Mallar finished 2nd, Riley McCumber finished 7th and Lilly Jagielski finished 17th.
Just a reminder that tonight's Junior high Volleyball game will be a 3 games with the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade all playing separate games starting at 5:30.
The Junior High Football game in Tekonsha will start shortly after 5pm due to a busing issue.

Elementary students and staff at Pittsford Area Schools recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning after breakfast in the cafeteria. Our Middle School and High School students recite the Pledge of Allegiance every afternoon during student announcements.

As many of you know there is a heat advisory in effect for tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m. The forecast is predicting the heat index to reach 105. With that being said, Pittsford Area Schools will have a half day tomorrow, August 24th. We will dismiss students at 11:10 a.m.
HACC students will still attend the career center tomorrow morning. Their bus will leave at 7:45 and return prior to dismissal.

Please join us for a COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP of the school grounds on SATURDAY, AUGUST 12th from 8-10 a.m. Please meet in front of the school. We will be pulling weeds, trimming trees, and readying the playground and the Senior Rock for the kids. Bring gloves, garden tools and rakes. Hope to see you there!
